Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Organik Robot ("we", "us") collects when you use organikrobot.com and its tools, why we collect it, how it's stored, and the rights you have over it. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.
What we collect
Account data: name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash by our authentication provider — we never see or store your plaintext password).
Tool usage data: results and inputs you submit to free tools (e.g. bandwidth scans, thought entries), your subscription plan, and scan history tied to your account.
Lead data: if you enter your email into a tool without creating an account, we store that email along with which tool you used and the result, so we can send you your result and relevant follow-up emails.
Payment data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer/subscription IDs and plan status — we never see or store your card details.
Usage & analytics data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location (country/region derived from IP), and general interaction events, collected via PostHog. Session recordings mask all input fields and password fields by default.
Support & communications: anything you send us directly, e.g. by email.
How we use it
To provide and improve the tools and dashboard, process payments and manage subscriptions, send transactional emails (welcome, password reset, receipts) and, if you've opted in as a lead or subscriber, occasional product emails, secure the platform against abuse (e.g. rate limiting and fraud prevention), and understand how the product is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of subprocessors to run the service, each of whom only receives the data they need to perform their function:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Stripe — payment processing and billing.
- Resend — transactional and product email delivery.
- PostHog (EU region) — product analytics and session recordings.
- Anthropic — powers AI-based tools (e.g. thought analysis); the text you submit to those tools is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response and is not used by us to train any model.
We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Organik Robot, our users, or the public.
Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, subscription record, and scan history are deleted immediately; some records (e.g. billing history) may be retained by Stripe as required for tax and accounting purposes. Lead data (email captured without an account) is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR if you're in the EU/UK, and the CCPA/CPRA if you're a California resident), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time (every email we send includes an unsubscribe link).
To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below, or delete your account directly from your dashboard settings. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS everywhere), database-level access controls (Row Level Security) so users can only ever access their own data, and hashed passwords managed by our authentication provider. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using commercially reasonable safeguards.
Cookies
We use a session cookie required for you to stay logged in, and analytics cookies (via PostHog) to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging in.
Children
Organik Robot is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date below, and where appropriate, we'll notify you by email.
